Daily Schedule

I've been asked what a daily schedule in FEMA Corps looks like, well here are the schedules that I have been through:

Closeout Schedule:
At least six months into a disaster
7am - Wake Up 7:30 - Leave for work
8 - Arrive at work
3:30 - 5:30pm - Leave Work
1 hour for PT
1 hour for Dinner
Sleep at 10pm

Post/Active Disaster:
3 weeks into a disaster
6:30am - Wake up
7 - Leave for work
7:15 - 8 Arrive at work (could be longer depends on commute)
Work until 6:30 - 7:30
No PT during active disasters
Eat dinner or do not eat dinner
Sleep ASAP
These days are long, but not as long as they could be.

Post Disaster:
3 months into a disaster
7am - Wake up
7:30 - Leave for work
8 - Arrive at work
6pm - Leave work
45min for PT
1 hour for Dinner
Sleep whenever
Usually in these kind of disasters you are doing lots of field work; yet, just enough to get tired but not really.

Active Disaster
Immediately following a disaster declaration
4:30 - 5am Wake up
5:15 - 5:30: Leave for work
5:15 - 6: Arrive at work (could be longer deepends on commute)
7pm: Leave work
8pm - 9pm: Arrive back at housing having eaten dinner in the van.
Sleep ASAP
These days are the longest, but the most rewarding.
